The Enhancing Communities Action for Peace and Better Health Initiative (e-CAPH) provides comprehensive, community-based services designed to improve health outcomes, promote peace and protection, and empower vulnerable populations. Our services are delivered through a rights-based, gender-responsive, and evidence-driven approach, working closely with communities, government institutions, and development partners.

Adolescent, Youth and Community Health Services

e-CAPH delivers preventive, promotive, and referral-based health services that address the priority health needs of adolescents, young people, women, and families.

Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Services

We support women and families to access quality maternal and child health services through both community-based and system-level interventions.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention, Response and Survivor Support Services

e-CAPH provides survivor-centred GBV services that prioritise safety, dignity, confidentiality, and recovery.

Skill Acquisition, Women and Youth Empowerment Services

As part of our GBV prevention and recovery strategy, e-CAPH delivers economic empowerment services that reduce vulnerability and promote long-term resilience.

Girl-Child Education Support Services

e-CAPH promotes access to quality education for girls as a key pathway to health, empowerment, and peace.

Street-Connected Children Education and Protection Services

We provide tailored education and protection services for street-connected children, recognising their heightened vulnerability to abuse, exploitation, and poor health outcomes.

Malaria Prevention and Control Services

e-CAPH contributes to malaria prevention and control through community-based, behaviour-change, and service-linkage interventions, particularly targeting pregnant women, children, and vulnerable households.

Community Engagement, Peacebuilding and Social Accountability Services

We strengthen community ownership, peaceful coexistence, and accountability through structured engagement platforms.

Digital Innovation and Data Services

e-CAPH provides digital solutions that enhance transparency, tracking, and evidence-based decision-making.

* Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education and counselling

* HIV and HPV awareness, testing referrals, and follow-up

* Menstrual health and hygiene education and dignity kit support

* Nutrition education for adolescents, pregnant women, and caregivers

* Mental health awareness, psychosocial support, and referral

* Community health outreaches and mobile clinics in underserved areas

These services aim to increase knowledge, improve health-seeking behaviour, and reduce preventable illness and deaths.

* Antenatal care (ANC) mobilisation, tracking, and follow-up

* Support for facility-based delivery and postnatal care

* Routine immunisation tracking and defaulter tracing

* Family planning counselling and referral

* Nutrition counselling for pregnant women and young children

* Deployment of digital tools such as the ANC Tracker to strengthen accountability and decision-making

  1. Skill Acquisition, Women and Youth Empowerment Services

* Vocational and technical skills training

* Entrepreneurship and small business development support

* Financial literacy and savings education

* Support for income-generating activities

* Linkages to mentorship, cooperatives, and market opportunities

 

These services particularly target GBV survivors, adolescent mothers, out-of-school youth, and women at risk, enabling them to achieve financial independence and social reintegration.

  1. Street-Connected Children Education and Protection Services

We provide tailored education and protection services for street-connected children, recognising their heightened vulnerability to abuse, exploitation, and poor health outcomes.

Our services include:

* Non-formal education and basic literacy and numeracy programmes

* Life skills, hygiene, and health education

* Psychosocial support and counselling

* Family tracing and reintegration support where possible

* Referral to formal education, vocational training, and protection services

* Collaboration with social welfare agencies and community leaders

  1. Malaria Prevention and Control Services

e-CAPH contributes to malaria prevention and control through community-based, behaviour-change, and service-linkage interventions, particularly targeting pregnant women, children, and vulnerable households.

Our malaria services include:

* Community education on malaria prevention and early care-seeking

* Distribution and proper use education of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs)

* Promotion of intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy (IPTp)

* Referral for malaria testing and treatment

* Integration of malaria messaging into MNCH and community outreach activities
