To commemorate International Women’s Day, e-CAPH, in collaboration with UNFPA, organized an interactive session on Women and Girl Child Empowerment, creating a safe and welcoming space for open dialogue, shared experiences, and honest reflection on issues that deeply affect the lives of women and girls.

During the session, participants spoke candidly about pressing challenges such as violence against women and girls, child spacing, and the everyday realities many women face, particularly in hard-to-reach communities. These conversations brought to light not only the challenges, but also the strength, resilience, and shared hopes of the women present.

What made the session especially powerful was not just the discussion itself, but the sense of connection it created. Participants listened to one another, exchanged perspectives, and found common ground because real impact happens when people see themselves reflected in the conversations being held and in the solutions being proposed.

Moments like this remind us of the importance of intentional community engagement and the transformative role it plays in empowering women and girls, amplifying their voices, and fostering lasting change.
